Man… think you’re coming to chicken n pickle just for chicken n pickle. Yeah right! We were looking for something for our two boys to love while out in the sun. We stumbled upon Social Eats. & boy were we impressed!! Bri our hostess and waitress was just TOP TIER!! She gave us GREAT recommendations and boy was the food amazing!! Serious Eats in Grand Prairie is a fun, ambitious concept — part pizza joint, part slider stand, part over-the-top milkshake bar — and Serious Pizza is very much at the heart of it. The restaurant is housed in a micro-food hall inside EpicCentral, which gives it an energetic, lively vibe.
Found this place while shopping, very chill vibe for lunch. Shakes are crazy, sliders came as singles but stacked. I was very happy with the food and the kids could hang out outside where we could see them.
It’s Serious Pizza and MORE! If you like the original, you’ll love this one. It’s a great atmosphere especially on weekends. 12 inch slices, with a crisp yet chewy, buttery crust. The Chocolate Boss shake was next level, it had Hersheys, M&Ms, ice cream bar, chocolate syrup and too much more to write out. The Shortcake shake looked awesome too. You will pay a premium for certain items but you can get out with a slice of cheese pizza for a real decent price around $5. It is well worth your dollar regardless! Service isn’t the fastest but, it’s a great hang out while you wait and all the employees were seriously nice (pun intended)!
Our first time trying Serious Eats. We met the GM, and he’s very friendly and had the coolest Jordan hat with the MJ logo holding a pizza, which are my husband’s two favorite things. Basketball and pizza. Very nice workers, lovely area. Definitely going again!

I had a great experience at Serious Eats, and I want to give a special shoutout to the host, Kris. From the moment we walked in, Kris was extremely welcoming, friendly, and professional. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of right away. His attitude and energy really set the tone for the whole visit. Me and my family loved the pizza and the wings.
Beautiful atmosphere and phenomenal pizza! Staff was so helpful and attentive to our "first timer" questions. Can't wait to come back to try the shakes! Gorgeous view. Highly recommend.
Acacia was the BOMB.!! Stayed professional while under pressure plus executing orders in a timely manner while the crowd was overwhelming and she was working by herself she did her thing betta keep her on. She needs a raise.!!! The ambience was wonderful. The light show outside was spectacular. It was a vibe.
